Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2027 Joint Conference of the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) and the Asia Pacific Academy for Psychosocial Factors at Work (APA-PFAW), to be held at the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University, from October 27 to 30, 2027.
As the global population ages rapidly and the nature of the work continues to evolve, health risks arising from demographic transition and changing psychosocial work environments have been major public health concerns. While the development of new technologies has brought enormous opportunities, it also entails potential health impacts and may widen health inequalities among working populations and across countries.
Under the theme “Healthy Aging and Decent Work for All”, we invite six keynote speakers to address these emerging issues. We aim to bring together researchers, practitioners, and policymakers from various disciplines to share research findings and strengthen connections that promote evidence-informed policies and practices in the Asia-Pacific region.
